Login Problems

First: is it even the real site?

The login guide is for people who still need the happy path. Use this checklist when sign-in already failed, looped, or felt hostile.

Type https://csgoempire.com or use a bookmark. Extra characters in the host, a different TLD, or a page that opened from a DM is not a “login bug.” It is the phishing issue checklist. Do not try the same password on the lookalike “one more time.”

Browser checks

   Hard-refresh on the official host only

   Stale caches and broken extensions cause a lot of “login does nothing” reports. Try a private window with extensions off.

   Try another browser or device

   If one browser fails and another works, the account is probably fine. If every device fails on the real domain, continue down the list.

   Check that cookies for csgoempire.com are not blocked

   Blocking all cookies or aggressive tracking protection can prevent a session from sticking. This site does not document unpublished cookie names and will not ask you to paste them.

   Do not clear Steam cookies into a chat

   “Send steamLoginSecure so we can restore login” is an attack. See Steam security and compromised-account pages.

Steam-related sign-in

If CSGOEmpire currently routes part of access through Steam, a Steam outage, Guard prompt, or hijacked Steam session will look like an Empire login failure. Confirm Steam itself works. Guard problems are Steam’s: Steam Guard FAQ. Linking inventory is a different issue — Steam won’t link — do not confuse “cannot sign in” with “inventory missing.”

Unexpected Guard codes during login you did not start: stop, read Steam phishing, then account compromised.

Lockouts and support

If the official site shows a ban, self-exclusion, or review message, this checklist cannot override it. Use CSGOEmpire on-site support. We do not invent an email address. We do not know unpublished appeal templates.

Password reset, if offered, must be completed on csgoempire.com and your real email host. Reset links inside a Discord DM are not official. After you get back in, review Steam security before you open deposits.

What this checklist will not do

It will not list unpublished HTTP error codes, captcha vendor names, or “clear this cookie” instructions that would require you to copy session material. If the official site shows a specific message this page does not mention, believe the site and the Help Centre. Unknown messages are on-site support, not a forum workaround.

A login failure is also not a reason to deposit through a middleman. If you regain access and a trade is waiting, switch to the correct problem page: deposit pending, Steam won’t link, or account compromised if sessions look hijacked.

After a successful sign-in on the real host, spend a minute on Steam security before you open /deposit/steam. Most “I logged in and then my skins moved” stories start with a second, fake tab — not with this checklist failing.
