Linking vs login vs inventory

If you cannot sign into CSGOEmpire at all, use login problems. If you are signed in but Steam will not connect or inventory stays empty, stay here. The intended flow is how to link Steam — do not skip it if you never completed a first successful link.

Official deposit help: new users may need a trade URL so the site can fetch Counter-Strike inventory. Linking without a usable offer target often looks like “Steam won’t link” when the identity prompt actually succeeded.

Checks that usually matter

   Retry only on the real domain

   Close extra tabs that say Empire. One official tab. If Steam’s login popup appears, the address must be a genuine Steam host.

   Confirm Steam Guard is actually usable

   You need to complete Steam’s own prompts. Steam documents this in the Guard FAQ. A lost authenticator will block trades even if CSGOEmpire shows a connected name.

   Try a private browser window

   Conflicting Steam sessions, blocked popups, and extensions that rewrite OpenID are common. This is a browser check, not a reason to export cookies.

   See whether the Steam account is the one you intend

   You may have confirmed a different Steam user in an old session. Sign out of Steam in the browser and repeat on csgoempire.com only.

   Do not loop through third-party “inventory checkers”

   Unknown tools that want a login or a trade URL to “force sync” are out of scope and unsafe.

Trade URL failures

If the site accepts Steam but still shows no items, paste a fresh trade URL copied from Steam yourself. Steam explains offers here: trade offers and trade URL. Inventory privacy that blocks offers will look like a CSGOEmpire bug. Rotate the URL if it was leaked; see trade URL.

Untradable items will not list. That is Steam tradability, not unpublished Empire filters this page will invent. Check the live deposit UI. More marketplace context: skins.

Still stuck

Use CSGOEmpire on-site support if the official connect flow errors after the checks above. Use Steam Support if the Steam popup itself fails. This website cannot complete a link remotely and will not request session tokens to try.

If the “won’t link” page asked for a password, treat it as phishing and compromised account material. For successful links that still will not deposit, switch to deposit pending or trade problem.
