The P2P model
CSGOEmpire’s Counter-Strike marketplace is player-to-player. You are not depositing into a site-owned bot warehouse. You list items from Steam; another user withdraws them (or you withdraw someone else’s listing). The Steam trade is the settlement layer. That is why Steam linking, a trade URL, and Steam Guard show up before anything useful happens.
Official documentation lives in the Help Centre P2P, deposit, withdraw, trades, and instant-credit articles. This independent page summarises those points for csgoempire.com users. It does not quote live prices and cannot see your trades.
Depositing skins
- 1
Open the official Steam deposit page
Sign in on csgoempire.com first. New users may be asked for a trade URL so inventory can load. - 2
List tradable items you actually intend to send
You choose the list price in Empire Coins on the site. This guide does not provide market valuations. - 3
Understand auction versus withdraw-page listing
Official deposit help: 6% or less relative to CSGOEmpire’s documented pricing sends the item to auction. More than 6% lists it on the withdraw page for other users to take directly. - 4
Send and confirm the Steam trade when a buyer appears
Auction trades: 30 minutes to send and confirm. Regular listings: 12 hours. Confirm on your authenticator only if the offer matches that listing.
Broader payment context — including non-skin routes — is in the deposit guide. If a listing sits pending, use deposit pending rather than a Discord fixer.
Withdrawing skins
Official withdraw help: you browse other users’ listed items. An “online” seller in that documentation means activity in the last 10 minutes, or the seller is using a bot. Coins are deducted after the item is received, not merely when you request the withdraw.
You still confirm the incoming Steam trade carefully. Names and images can be misleading if you are not on the official flow. See withdrawals for KYC, crypto wagering, and non-skin payouts. Item-level problems go to missing skin and withdrawal pending.
Timers, tracking, disputes
- Auction send/confirm window: 30 minutes (official deposit help).
- Regular listing window: 12 hours.
- Trade tracking: official material describes tracking after 7 days because of Steam trade protection.
- Disputes: up to 48 hours after a reversal, per that same operational documentation.
Steam trade protection is a Steam feature. CSGOEmpire’s instant-credit article discusses an approximately eight-day hold in that context. Do not assume coins or items are “stuck forever” on hour one, and do not assume they will appear without checking Steam history. Trade problem troubleshooting is the checklist version of this section.
Instant credit
Official instant-credit documentation describes tiers 1–10. Tier 1 is 0. Tiers 2–10 require a minimum level of 40. The limit is the tier limit plus 50% of the daily reward pool. Abuse and reversals are punished — CSGOEmpire’s article is the authority for enforcement language.
Instant credit is not a promise that Steam protection disappeared. It is a site-side credit policy on top of P2P settlement. If your deposit is only partly usable, that may be the tier limit rather than a broken trade. Recheck the live Help Centre article; numbers and eligibility can change.
Safety while trading
Confirm every offer yourself. Unexpected trades are a phishing and security issue, not a P2P feature. Keep Guard on. Do not share trade URLs in public chats. CSGOEmpire support remains on-site; this website will not ask for session tokens to “speed up” tracking.
Skins themselves — rarity, wear, float — are community CS2 concepts explained on the skins hub without live price claims. Gambling still has a house edge once coins are credited; read responsible gambling before you treat a successful deposit as a reason to increase stakes.
New users who want the advertised free-case offer should still start from https://csgoempire.com/r/MAX50 (MAX50) and secure Steam before listing inventory.
